Las Vegas the Most Entertaining Holiday In the World

When you think about a holiday in Las Vegas The first thing you generally think of is the casinos and gambling. Let’s step away from the hotels and casinos for a minute and think about some of the other reasons why Las Vegas is the most entertaining holiday in the world.

As you fly into Las Vegas you really want to try and have a night time arrival. There is truly nothing like seeing all the neon lights of the Las Vegas strip at night.

When you’re walking through the airport to the baggage pick up area the sounds of the slot machines great you and the excitement of your holiday really begins.

Your short cab ride to your hotel will give you scenes of the Vegas strip.

When ever I fly into Vegas I have a reservation set up for a rental car, or motorcycle. For this if you rent a car I would suggest a convertible. I tend to lean more towards a rented motorcycle. There’s nothing like a drive through the desert on a motorcycle.

When you rent a motorcycle they give you a pamphlet of common motorcycle routes for some great sight seeing.

My favorite route to take is the Death Valley run. This run takes you on a ride through Death Valley where you get all the sights of the Desert. You then turn to go up one of the Mountains. You will travel from an elevation of approximately 3000 feet above sea level to an elevation of around 7000 feet above sea level.

When you reach the top of the mountain besides the breath taking views you will find a mountain chalet. Depending on the time of year you may be able to experience the thrill of a horse drawn sleigh ride with the mountain views.

Another great run is the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead run. When you go across the Hoover Dam on a motorcycle there is nothing like looking over the edge as you drive by the fast drop off that is the Dam.

As you drive the windy road down to Lake Mead be on the lookout for wild Jackasses. When you get to the lake you will be impressed at the crystal clear bluish green water. Once here you can take a river boat ride down the Colorado River.

These are just a few of the things that make a Las Vegas Holiday the best in the World.
