Penny Marshall was a delight to meet and we spoke about 20 to 30 mins. She put on a birthday party for Arnie and he invited many of his buddies, which I was one of at the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas Nevada. We also saw the Cher concert the next day and he got many of us front row seats to a great show. This is before Arnie was so famous as he appeared on CNN, Larry King Live and Good Morning America with Diane Sawyer. He is a great man and only has the best interest of Michael and his kids at heart.

I have stayed in this hotel before and I can say that it was an okay experience the room that we was is had good access to the exit and to the casino, but it did not have air conditioning. We were there at the end of July and it was very hot outside. When we went to the room to rest and relax it was also hot inside. The only ways to stay cool was to either be in the pool or the shower. The pool was great the kids went there 2 times and they had fun. They also had fun at the arcade because it was open 24 hours a day and they were able to go whenever they wanted. The rooms were clean and comfortable for the most part. The best was that the elevator left us a few steps away from the door. What we didn’t like was that we had reserved 5 rooms and 2 were close together but the other 3 were scattered across the floor. We didn’t have adjacent rooms anywhere and the room that we had stayed in was adjacent to some party people because they were so loud at night that we could hear ruckus all night long. The view that we had from our window was okay but the view from the balcony was better. It was of the pool and of the stratosphere and circus circus. There is no doubt that Las Vegas is one of the brightest and most exciting places to visit in the whole of the US. It is primarily known for its gambling and casinos, but you will still find plenty to see and do if you don’t happen to enjoy having a flutter.

One of the key attractions in the area is the Adventuredome. This is a huge theme park which doesn’t rely on the weather to give you a great time. This is because it is located indoors, so even if you visit when it’s pouring with rain you’ll be able to see everything the dome has to offer without getting wet.

Although that may depend on which rides you decide to have a go at. The Rim Runner for example is a water ride where you sit in a boat and go down a huge drop before splashing into the water below. Be prepared to get a bit wet if you decide to take your seat on this one!

As you can probably tell, the Adventuredome is the ideal place to try out some really big rides. The Canyon Blaster roller coaster is the biggest and best of its kind indoors, and you will get an amazing view of the roof and the rest of the dome as you hurtle through two loops and a couple of corkscrews as well. This ride definitely isn’t for those who dislike fast and furious rides.

There are other experiences to be had here as well though. One that is popular with the younger kids is the SpongeBob SquarePants 4D Experience. The adults will probably be won over by the experience as well though.

There is also a laser game you can try if there is a group of you who are all up for the challenge. It certainly provides a nice change of pace from the thrill rides and you can see how good a shot you really are with your laser gun.

With all these rides and many more experiences besides, it’s not surprising the Adventuredome brings in so many visitors every day. This is a real family outing with lots to entertain children and adults of all ages. The best way to get your money’s worth is to buy a ticket that is valid for the whole day. Since rides can cost several dollars each individually, you can see that buying a whole day ticket is much better value for money.

Las Vegas hotels are strewn all over the Vegas area. If you want to visit the Adventuredome more than once it might pay to stay somewhere close by. But wherever you stay you’ll find plenty of fun under the roof of the dome.
