Where to Stay in Las Vegas When Bringing Kids
Article by Scott Wozny
Las Vegas shouldn’t be considered as a regular family vacation destination. However, I understand there might be times when you might go there with kids. So if you must go there with underage children it would be good to know what the best hotel to stay at would be. It’s actually a fairly common question as to where someone should stay in Vegas if they have kids, so I have thought about it quite a bit and feel that Circus-Circus is the best option.
To start things off, I would like to mention that I personally don’t enjoy staying at Circus-Circus. The main reason above everything else is the location. I enjoy walking the strip and going through each casino. And again, Circus-Circus is suggested for those with kids.
So why should you stay at Circus-Circus if you’re bringing your kids to Las Vegas? They have a roller-coaster, an arcade, circus acts and carnival games. You’re probably wondering about the circus acts if anything. They are short, fairly entertaining and free acts located above the casino floor. In between acts, you can play at the various carnival games to win prizes. And there are actually quite a few games to keep the kids entertained. And if that’s not enough, there’s a standard arcade area as well. In the Adventuredome section of the hotel, they have various rides and a roller-coaster to go on.
They also have food options for kids here. Many of the newer hotels are featuring higher priced restaurants that you might not want to take your kids to through your whole Vegas vacation. The Circus-Circus cafe isn’t too bad for a visit. They also have a pizza place next door to the cafe. And a place the kids will want to go to at least once, Circus-Circus has a McDonalds as well. Several of the other restaurants even have kid specials.
So if you are going to be taking a Las Vegas vacation with your kids, you should consider staying at Circus-Circus. The nightly hotel rate is even one of the cheapest on the Vegas strip. I also want to note that at the same time, I don’t really recommend it for those going without kids.

Take a Gamble â?? The Top 5 Casinos in Las Vegas
Article by Jon Simpson
In Las Vegas you can almost hear the sound of shuffling cards, the clicking of a roulette wheel, the clatter of tossed dice, the spinning of a slot machine, a whispered prayer for number 5 – this is the theme tune to Las Vegas.
Whether it’s your first visit to Sin City or your twentieth, the excitement of the Las Vegas casino floor never diminishes and is the primary reason so many people visit this desert oasis. In Vegas, the lights are brighter, the colours bolder and the bets bigger. In Las Vegas, everything is bigger, better and more extravagant than anywhere else in the world.
Book flights to Las Vegas, to experience this one of a kind city and try your hand at Roulette or the slots in one of the best 5 casinos in Vegas!
The Bellagio
Over-indulgence is a word that’s not in the Bellagio’s dictionary. As a matter of fact, think of an over-indulgence and then magnify it by ten. That’s The Bellagio. Extreme luxury and class coupled with the palpable excitement of the game floor make the Bellagio a Las Vegas casino icon. The intimate space features roulette, blackjack, craps, and baccarat. A luxurious poker room with plenty of action and high- and low-limits provides a haven for 7 Card Stud devotees. High-limit slot machines tease with the possibility of big wins and comfy chairs beckon from the race and sports book lounge. With rooms of sheer comfort and style and a great view no matter where your room is, the Bellagio will soothe your senses, at least until you hit the game floor!
Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino
Mandalay Bay is a favourite vacation spot for many returning guests. Built to resemble a beach resort set in the South Seas, it even has its own beach. This hotel casino is a spacious and flowing resort, with rooms to match. The casino is second in size only to the MGM Grand. Features of the gaming area include over 2400 slot and video poker games, 122 table games, and a plush 300-seat, 17-screen race and sports book area showcasing the largest screens in town. The casino tables are geared more to the high roller, with many celebrities gracing its halls, but a huge number of 5 cent and 25 cent slots adorn the floor as well. All of this is surrounded by a gorgeous, exotic tropical habitat. There’s also a private pit for high-priced betting. With its own shark reef, the Mandalay is truly an original, and it pushes the envelope even by Vegas standards!
The MGM Grand
The casino at the MGM Grand is more than grand, it’s the largest casino-entertainment complex in the world! Encompassing four themed gaming areas (Hollywood, Emerald City, Monte Carlo, and Sports, each with distinctive decor), the casino spans 171,500 square feet, over 50,000 more than the next-largest Vegas casino. The games offered include, but are most definitely not limited to, 3700 slot and video poker machines, 76 blackjack and 15 craps tables, and 17 roulette wheels. When the Grand opened, it took 39 armoured cars two days to bring in enough money to stock the casino! This Vegas icon is also one of the most recognized hotels in the world. The hotel includes restaurants from famous chefs like Emeril Lagasse and Tom Colicchio. Need a break from betting? Visit the Grand Garden Arena, where you can catch a concert as well as championship boxing matches.
Caesars Palace
Transport yourself back to the age of Roman dominance as you step into the lavish Caesars Palace. Aptly named, the massive columns, the sparkling fountains and the statuary, all point to a different place in time, but with the expected Las Vegas flair. The casino’s a combination of grand Roman styling, like marble columns and spacious ceilings and it’s approachable by all degrees of players. There are over 2000 slot and video poker machines, blackjack and craps tables, roulette wheels and other games set in the opulent surroundings. The place also features a plush, state-of-the-art race and sports book with 38 video screens and 650 seats. The 5 cent and 25 cent slots are still enjoyed at Caesars.
Paris Las Vegas
Paris Las Vegas’s casino is as much an experience as it is a gaming room and the decor attentively recalls beautiful Parisian streets. In addition, three legs of the resort’s 50-story Eiffel Tower replica extend into the casino. Interspersed throughout the gaming room are over 2000 slot and video poker machines and over 100 table games, including a special high-limit area for serious high-rollers. The facility also offers a comfortable race and sports book. For a distraction from gaming, ride to the top of the Tower and enjoy a magnificent view of the Strip, or take in the Notre Dame de Paris musical spectacular. C’est magnifique!
