The Luck Of The Business Draw With Wimax In Las Vegas

While it might seem a little bit crazy to base any sort of conference right in Sin City, Las Vegas has become a major destination for big businesses looking to get together for annual purposes. With the downtown convention center just a short drive from the Strip, though, it can be pretty easy to get a little bit distracted from your work-related duties with so much fun and excitement waiting around every corner.

Fortunately, a lot of the hotel rooms in Las Vegas are equipped for business travelers, and offer some form of internet to make those late night and early morning cram sessions a little bit easier. The only difference in Vegas, however, is that there’s finally something more than your typical wireless internet connection. You know the type: you expect it to work since the front desk assured you that it would, but you didn’t bother to check it before heading out to get some dinner and maybe enjoy a couple of hours of free time. Now that you’re back in the hotel room and it’s time to get serious, your laptop just can’t connect to the network. Or the network is there one minute and gone the next. Or the front desk says that your room gets the network, but you can’t seem to make it show up to save your life.

That sort of frustration on a business trip can be enough to ruin any good times and excitement that Las Vegas manages to bring to your life in the first place, but it can also be avoided entirely. You see, Las Vegas is one of the many cities in the United States that now is completely covered with WiMax. A completely different approach to the traditional model of wireless, this is a way of staying online and knowing that no matter where you go, the network isn’t going to falter. Because WiMax uses towers to build its network, just like the big cell phone companies in the country, the signal is able to reach much further than with your typical consumer-level router. This means, also, that the towers are not just capable of transmitting the signal, but can also bounce the signal from one another, meaning that networks can stretch out over hundreds and hundreds of miles without interruption.

But unless you were really hoping on some wireless internet for your drive from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, you don’t need hundreds of miles of a network: you just need one right there in Vegas itself. And that part of the equation is a piece of cake. If you were already a WiMax customer, it is as simple as turning your laptop on once you’re sitting in your Las Vegas hotel room. It will immediately connect to the network that it finds, just like your cell phone does after a flight when you switch it on. And a connection that reliable definitely makes business travel easier, leaving you more time to explore the options both on and off of the famous Vegas Strip.

Stress-Free Business Travel to Las Vegas With Wimax

While business travel can be a great way to break away from the daily grind of an office job, sometimes the experience of trying to get work done on the road can leave people frustrated and with no time to spare. This can be particularly difficult if connecting to a faraway office is an integral part of last-minute planning and a successful presentation. Even those who are on the road all of the time know that there is often no way to prepare for the stresses of showing up to a major conference in a city like Las Vegas only to find out that your hotel room is on the floor that the Wi-Fi doesn’t quite reach. And no one wants to spend a bunch of time rambling around an unfamiliar city in search of an internet cafe or spot with Wi-Fi at three in the morning.

One of the biggest advantages to business travel recently is the addition of WiMax to the options possible for communication on the world wide web. Unlike a typical wireless internet connection that depends on a router and the person in charge of making sure it’s actually functioning correctly, this new system of networks manages to take all of the guesswork out of getting online. Because it depends on towers more like those that cell phone companies use to ensure their customers don’t have dropped calls across town or across the country, the signal is stronger and more widespread than a typical Wi-Fi connection. At the same time, the fact that a computer can literally be opened anywhere and instantly online means that there is no reason to stress about last-minute emails and downloads.

In a city like Las Vegas where so many business conferences are a part of daily life, finding a Wi-Fi spot is often not even the real problem. Whether in a conference center or hotel banquet hall, those who are using a local network to get online find that the lag time often makes it impossible to get work done. After all, when a single router is powering everyone’s web connection, the signal tends to go a whole lot slower. And for someone who has a last-minute PDF download of 100-plus pages, this can mean the difference between a successful presentation and a whole lot of trouble.

With WiMax, there is no longer the need to rely on anyone else’s network. Downloading huge files is quick and efficient, whether in the conference center or back at the hotel room. And for those who find themselves on the road more than back at home, there is the additional bonus of an inexpensive way to keep in touch with family. It’s possible to actually video-chat, rather than just send emails, and spending less time racking up a huge cell phone bill might mean being able to take advantage of a company expense account in other more productive ways. Being on the ball with a better connection also shows co-workers and bosses alike that you are serious about doing a good job, which is always a plus, especially in a somewhat shaky economy.

Clear Internet Las Vegas means never worrying about faulty Wi-Fi again. Let Las Vegas CLEAR Wimax internet improve your business travel experiences.

This was a nice room to stay in. Its not the most expensive room out there, but its very nice for what it is , and the space in my room was more then enough for me to walk around in. Beds were nice and comfy and I fell asleep immediately. Free TV channels were more then adequate. I want to thank Best Buy for inviting me to Las Vegas and covering our Hotel Rooms.

Born over 750 years ago, Lavenham is noted for its 15th century church, circular walk and some 320 listed timber framed buildings, many of which are protected by English Heritage.

The village is located around five miles north east of the town of Sudbury, and can be found on a ridge on the western bank of the River Brett. The ridge consists of two valleys and is broken into three parts: the Church of St. Peter & St. Paul (pictured above) is located on the southernmost section, Lavenham Marketplace on the central part, and the remains of a windmill atops the northernmost section. The southernmost valley contains a stream running between the pond at Lavenham Hall and the Brett, though it was covered by a culvert 500 years ago, and the aptly named Water Street built over the top.
