There are plenty of good, affordable restaurants to choose from when you’re with kids in Las Vegas. Restaurant locations shouldn’t be a problem when you plan your itinerary as long as you make sure that the hotel where you are staying has a couple of kid-friendly restaurants–something that’s common with most of the hotels on the Strip.

Speaking of the Strip, try out the food courts in the following hotels there: The Venetian, New York-New York, Caesar’s Palace, Excalibur, Circus-Circus, and the Grand Canal Shops. These food courts are affordable, offer plenty of food choices and are convenient since they are located along the Strip. You can be in and out under 20 minutes.

To make your meal a memorable experience, try a themed Las Vegas restaurant for kids such as The Rainforest Café or Planet Hollywood.

These kid friendly restaurants in Las Vegas are a bit pricier but the additional fun will be worth it. Planet Hollywood is located at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. Its pizza, burgers, pasta and sandwiches menu will please your kids. It also contains healthier choices such as salads.

Your kids will love to lunch or dine in a tropical forest setting full of vegetation, lakes, waterfalls and exotic animals at the Rainforest Café. Located at the MGM Grand, this restaurant is specifically for kids and families. It’s also a great place to host your kid’s birthday party. Even if it offers a kid’s menu its regular menu is full of goodies that kids like such as sandwiches, burgers, pastas and pizzas. Soups and salads, beef, pork and chicken are also available. If you really want to turn your dinner into an unforgettable experience then we recommend Tournament of Kings at the Excalibur. This is a dinner show that will transport your kids to another time and place – Medieval Europe during King’s Arthur’s time. The show exhibits around 40 cast members and your kids will enjoy having dinner while kings and Knights fight for honor and their lives in the arena. This dinner show has been one of the most popular in Las Vegas. The ticket price including a three- course meal is around but for kids younger than three years old the entrance is free as long as they share the meal with the adults.

While the hotel provides several dining options, the best is the Tournament of Kings, a dinner show that features wizards, dragons, and jousting.

With a little different theme, the Luxor was built to resemble an Egyptian pyramid, although the actual pyramids of Egypt are smaller than the Luxor. The hotel is even guarded by an authentic Sphinx replica. The hotel features an IMAX theater and a two story arcade to keep kids entertained. Your family will also enjoy exploring King Tut’s Tomb and museum, and the five on site swimming pools. The actual hotel rooms all have slanting walls, due to the shape of the hotel, and it creates an interesting atmosphere the kids will love.

The Orleans Hotel is a great place to go if you need some time away from the kids. The hotel offers a daycare that features an expansive jungle gym, movies, and arts and crafts activities to keep the kids entertained. The day care accepts children from ages 2 1/2 all the way up to 12. The entire family will enjoy the 70-lane bowling alley and the movie complex, featuring 18 theaters, swimming pool, and spa and fitness center. For the parents, the hotel offers an adjoining casino.
