This video was recorded Christmas Eve; December 24, 2009 when I was staying at the Las Vegas Hilton for the holidays. What was so special about this is that someone named Lisa Marie left a red rose and Christmas card at the base of the Elvis’ statue located on the hotel property near the entrance. I opened the card and it said “To Elvis, You will be in our hearts forever, Love, Lisa Marie”. Could this have been Elvis’ daughter Lisa Marie who left the card? Entry from: Las Vegas, United States Entry Title: “FLDS to Sin City (Day 3)” Entry: “In the morning after long goodbyes and awesome home grown fruit smoothies and carrot juice, we made our way from Colorado City to Las Vegas, along the stunning visage that highway (x) is; a land full of desert buttes and beautiful rock formations, cacti, colorful sands, and twisting roads. Once in Vegas our first stop was the Go Raw Café (a café we came to appreciate at the Green Festival in Seattle where they had a booth), we enjoyed a hearty meal of delicious raw Mediterranean pizza with hummus and sprouts and a raw veggie beet burger with a side of avocado fries. Then it was back to the strip to check in at the NYNY hotel and found our room to be a hike across the bulk of the hotel. After getting settled in our first “real” honeymoon stopover and making some much needed communications, we took off to tour the famous Las Vegas strip. After walking through the various hotels that are Paris, Venice and Rome, we can say that we have visited some essence of those beautiful places on our honeymoon.
