Learn about the highlights of the Imperial Palace Las Vegas in this video about Vegas. Expert: Mike Myers Video transcript: My name is Mike Myers. I am the owner of Legion Marketing; my expertise is in nightlife. I believe that I know the best and brightest of everything that’s in Las Vegas. I can help you skip the lines, skip the bad spots, basically cut the fat. The location is probably its best attribute other than the actual location on the strip. The (center?) 150 yard line. They do have an auto collection there. Which is the worlds largest, and they claim to be the finest classic car show room. And they have 100 million dollars worth of inventory there. Basically all of the cars are for sale. Which is pretty amazing, they’re not just showcasing the cars. You buy a pass to go see the cars, where every car has a price on it. So, the nice thing is if you actually saw something you wanted you could drive away with a car that day Rockhouse is a rock and roll themed, low end, dive bar. Which is right off the strip. They have a daiquiri stand. Which is, no kidding, on the strip, and then you walk through that stand and it goes into the nightclub/bar. There’s a lot of turn-and-burn mentality of it. It’s not a place where you’re going to bottle service or anything like that. Apparently, there’s a place called Frank Marino’s Viva Las Vegas. which is really good if you’re into drag queens. Thanks for watching The Highlights of the Imperial Palace Las Vegas! Ifyou enjoyed this …

First Trip to Las Vegas? A Short Guide, Tips, and Tricks
Article by Kyle Chapman
Your first trip to Las Vegas can be really exciting! There is so much to do, and so much to see, but where should you start? Where should you stay, and what should you do?
More than likely you are going to be flying into McCarren International Airport. First of all, I would suggest against renting a car unless you have plans to leave the strip or downtown. It is too easy to get around with cabs in this town to have to worry about parking or the hassle associated with renting a car. So unless you want to visit Red Rock Canyon or Hoover Dam, just walk outside and find the cab line.
Alright, where should you stay? This question is one I get a lot. The answer is always, “It depends.” This depends on if you are looking for a super luxurious hotel, somewhere middle of the road, or somewhere cheap.
Are you looking to stay in some of the most luxurious resorts in the country? Well you should look into the Wynn hotel, their sister hotel Encore, or the Bellagio hotel Las Vegas.
What about some really fun places to see and party? You should look into Caesars Palace, the Venetian, Mandalay Bay, or Planet Hollywood.
Looking for a place that is middle of the road, and a little more relaxed? Well you can’t go wrong staying at the Mirage, Luxor, Paris, or the MGM Grand.
Maybe you want to save a little cash. I would suggest checking out Treasure Island, the Flamingo, Excalibur, Harrah’s, Ballys, Imperial Palace, or Circus Circus.
All of these places have their pros and cons, and you can learn more about these by visiting my site.
Just so you know, most of the hotels are within walking distance of each other, especially if you stay in the middle of the strip. If you are at let’s say Mandalay Bay, and you are going to a show at the Wynn, you really need to take a cab though. It is very easy to determine which casinos are within walking distance of each other once you get there.
Ok, just to clarify, YES drinks are free in Vegas as long as you are gambling! Drinks in the town are normally pretty expensive, so if you are looking to save some money, find a bar with a video poker machine and put a bill in and start playing. The drinks are free, so drink up. Trust me, you will save money doing this! Also, Las Vegas is one of the few towns in the United States where it is legal to walk down the street with an open container.
So what if you don’t like gambling? Don’t worry, you can still have a great time in this town! Las Vegas is home to some of the best shows, the best restaurants, pristine shopping, and some of the greatest nightlife there is to offer.
All in all, as a first timer in Las Vegas, my main suggestion is to see as much as possible. Go to as many casinos as you can. They are themed differently, and half the fun is casino hopping.
Go see a show. Whether it be a comedian, a musical, or a traditional Vegas showgirl routine, see something! You will be glad that you did.
Go to at least one fancy restaurant. Some of the most famous chefs in the world have restaurants here, so take advantage of the opportunity.
Throw in some gambling and some shopping, and you’ll have a trip that you will remember for years to come!
