The “Big Shot” is a ride which literally shoots you straight up 160 feet in the air at about 45 mph reaching over thousand feet above the Vegas strip. The “X-Scream” is a giant teeter-totter type ride that propels you 27 feet over the edge of the Tower and over 800 feet above ground level. And “Insanity” is a massive mechanical arm extends way out feet over the edge of the Tower and spins you at a force of 3 Gs (as they claim) for a truly wild experience. Just remember these are not for the faint of heart but for youngsters and specially teenagers, these should be blast. While they are enjoying amusement rides you can enjoy the great view from high top this same hotel. They have the tallest free-standing observation tower in all of the United States.

The Nevada Zoological and Botanical Park is another great way to spend the day with the family. This is actually referred to as the Las Vegas Zoo as it is only about 15 minutes from the Vegas Strip.
