This was at Bally’s Las Vegas, outside the sushi restaurant Ichiban. The crane game says per play, catch a lobster and we will cook it for you. Leilani caught a lobster on her first try- and we didn’t know how to eat it…

Story: Jon4Lakers tweeted out that the first person who could catch him in Las Vegas would win an HTC Inspire 4G. Well, that inspired me to take on his challenge! The challenge was easier for me since he checked in at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas through FourSquare on Twitter. So around 8 PM, I went to the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas and told myself that if I couldn’t find him in 25 minutes that I would give up. I was going around in circles until the 25 minutes was up. Bummer. I couldn’t find him. So as I headed out, I saw him walking the other direction and I yelled out, “Jon! Mr. Buffalo!” (LOL.) We talked for around 5 minutes, and I shot this video, as well as a few photos. Fun experience! Jon is really a great guy! Ladder Bonus win at Bellagio on 20th June 2011

What are the odds that I would record this win? Watch as makes 0! I didn’t think these huge slots would actually pay out but there you go. This was at the New York New York Casino in Las Vegas.

Check out Kyle Baldock run 3 from the BMX Dirt Finals at the Dew Tour Championships presented by Godaddy.com. This was his highest single-run score of the night, helping give him the victory.

Las Vegas, the Brightest City in the World

It may conjure up images of glitz, glamour and winning it big at casinos, but a stunning nightlife isn’t all there is to Las Vegas – though it does comprise of a large part of it. In fact, Las Vegas’ enigmatic night owlishness is what has caused it to be recognised as the world’s brightest city – literally. Thanks to the thousands of illuminated signs and flashing lights, Vegas has broken records with its luminescence and can even be seen from space.

There’s certainly a truth to the idea of Vegas as a party town, and this isn’t just because of the dominance of casinos and clubs in the downtown area. There’s also various parties and celebrations that take place as often as every month, such as the First Friday celebration. This event occurs on the first Friday of every month and serves as an excuse for the city’s local artists and musicians to bring their latest works of art and orchestration to the public eye in a celebration of Vegas’ creative scene. First Friday takes place in an area of downtown Vegas known tellingly as the Arts District and is packed with opportunities for art and music lovers. During the course of the day, you’ll be able to take in a plethora of exciting new art and sculpture, as well as making the most of the chance to hear fantastic new sets from local Vegas bands live and uncharged – which is what makes this monthly event so popular.

The Vegas arts scene may be neglected when the city is being talked about on a national or international level, but it is actually one of the most prominent aspects of the city’s personality – and something that should not be missed, so if you are planning a trip to this enigmatic and welcoming city, try to arrange it around the first Friday of the month so you won’t miss out on this fabulous display of community togetherness.

Las Vegas is a fun, fancy-free and ultimately entertaining city to visit. Whether you’re most interested in hitting the casino, heading out on a shopping spree, taking in some of the delightful local arts culture or simply relaxing in a beautiful public park, Vegas truly has it all. In fact, you might even find that you don’t spend alot of time in your Las Vegas hotels, but even if you end up getting barely any sleep from all the adventure, you can be sure that it’ll all be worthwhile.
